Davis Pipelayer, Inc. introduces a new class of pipelaying machines licensed to Volvo CE for manufacture and distribution. These five new pipelayer designs are a patented adaptation of the Volvo CE excavators and offer a number of technical advantages over traditional pipelaying dozers with side-based booms, including modern lifting technology and 360°-swing functionality.

With lift capacities ranging from 44,800 to 336,000 lbs., the pipelayers offer full lifting performance and functionality at all radius positions. They also provide a wider gauge, lower center of gravity, and boom mounting inboard of the track frame provide the stability to work on slopes with much higher lift capacities than conventional equipment.
